Why Rainbow Scout Reservation? Nestled in the scenic outdoors of Morris, IL, Rainbow Scout Reservation offers a diverse range of activities designed to challenge and excite. From climbing our glorious COPE tower to mastering skills at our shooting sports range, every day is filled with adventure and opportunities to learn new skills.
Exciting Activities Include:
- Pathfinders Program: Perfect for first-year campers! Dive into scout skills, first aid, swimming, and geocaching, capped off with an overnight outpost experience.
- COPE & Climbing: Test your limits on our COPE (Challenging Outdoor Personal Experience) course or scale the heights of our climbing tower.
- Horsemanship: Saddle up for hands-on horseback riding lessons at Rocking L Ranch (transportation on a unit level required).
- High Adventure Treks: Join the RSR Trek Crew for backpacking, swimming, and more! Explore different program areas each afternoon.
- Shooting Sports: Compete in rifle and shotgun shooting, and earn respect from the entire aquatics staff with our Mile Swim challenge.
